Safe and quality exhibition stands with CE marking

Today, the globalised market offers the possibility of choosing from a wide range of exhibition stands to improve communication. But this great offer can hide real pitfalls, especially with regard to the quality and safety of display stands.
Recently, significant problems related to the CE marking have emerged, so it is really important to pay the utmost attention in order to avoid buying products without certification, counterfeit or without any reference to the manufacturer.

One thing at a time: what do you mean by CE marking?

CE marking means the “mandatory marking for all products for which there is a Community directive, and is made by the manufacturer of a product regulated in the European Union, who declares by means of the declaration of conformity or performance for construction products, that the product complies with the safety requirements, provided for by the applicable Community directives or regulations“.
The original European conformity mark is therefore composed of the letters C and E, obtained from two circles and therefore in the original, between C and E there must be at least half the width of C. If these proportions are not respected, then we are facing a false Chinese, which has a completely different meaning: “China Export”, which involves the purchase of a product without any reference to the manufacturer, and therefore potentially dangerous.

In full compliance with the EU directive, Geprom offers on the market exhibition stands accompanied by an EC Declaration of Conformity, to further guarantee quality, even in the case of the most complex displays in terms of design and assembly such as illuminated displays, with references to specific EU directives.
In the case of Geprom, the CE marking represents a further guarantee for the consumer: each CE marked product is the result of quality work that is reflected in all phases of production, from design to development, from the drawing of individual details to the drafting of the technical manual, which must be left at the disposal of the competent authorities.
It is essential that displays, totems, notice boards, plaques, illuminated display stands and all other products that may be included in the definition of “exhibition stands” are accompanied by a declaration of conformity, as it constitutes an assumption of responsibility by the manufacturer who takes responsibility for what he declares and assumes responsibility for it before the law.
