Materials certified for food use

Geprom has always taken care of the quality of its products and manufacturing display stands specific for food, by using certified Plexiglas® suitable for food contact.

In a consolidated view of the supply chain, the concept of food safety is now extended to the components and materials which, by coming into contact with food, can intervene on the product and on its proper preservation. This is why the new sector regulamentation has been developed and extended to producers, processors, distributors and users of materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

The display candy boxes PCBL and PCS made by Geprom conform according to the rules in force, and are produced with Plexiglas® certified for food use to ensure greater safety and higher quality.

Geprom also offers its clients a range of products developed for the proper maintenance of the display stands used for food.

In particular, the disinfectant cleaner proposed by Geprom complies according to HACCP standards, which is able to thoroughly clean the Plexiglas® without attacking the surface. Thanks to the presence of quaternary ammonium salts with high microbicide power, this is an indispensable product for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces that come in contact with food.
